LiveGreene’s owner and manager David recently moved from Mountain View to Redwood City, California. Both are about the same distance from the store in Palo Alto, but the bike commute with Mr. Ed from Mountain View was a two city ride. The new commute from Redwood City is a 4-city ride. Redwood City, Atherton, Menlo Park and Palo Alto. Truly, the Peninsula is just one big long city from San Francisco to San Jose, so a 4-city ride sounds long, but really isn’t.
Truly, the ride is a great escape, complete with a sense of freedom, community, and exercise. It is time to unplug, not worry about traffic, or which radio station to bear listening to (although KOIT is a perennial favorite at this time of year). Nope. Not giving up the commute with Mr. Ed for anything. Splendor on two wheels!
